I have never wrote a train before it was an exciting experience for me the staff was a professional the trip was beautiful and the timing was really expedient. I got stuck in St Albans Vermont and did not want to wait for a bus, and like an angel I saw Amtrak and I paid $12. The conductor helped me reach the office and I arranged to pay for the train ride. In 30 minutes I was home back in my beloved Burlington. now when I do travel the other parts of Vermont I will be taking Amtrak thank you for being my guardian angel. US Taxpayers have given billion$ to Amtrak and the exterior appearance of this station is still a total unappealing dump. Broken windows, trash scattered around, no relevant train signage (the historic sign doesn’t count for current travels) and again: one must take big steps up to get on board - after the Amtrak device folks yell at customers where to go to board (confused customers since there is no signage). Only two ⭐️stars⭐️ because there was a small, heated waiting room and a nice older gent there manning it proving some info - but these seemed to be lock-and-promise types of covers over a spot that needs a total refresh for an improved and better traveler’s experience.

Great way to travel and see the back country of America.
If you need some provisions there's a convenient store around the way and a waiting room at the train station.
You can also catch the city bus from hear.
Good fortune awaits you on your journey!
