About the yes or no tarot

The yes or no reading is the simplest tarot spread: one question, one card. Think of a question that can be answered with yes or no, then pick a card from the deck. An upright card leans towards yes, a reversed card leans towards no or not yet. The meaning of the card adds the reason behind the answer.

Keep the question specific. "Will I hear back about the job this week?" gives a clearer reading than "Will things work out?". If the answer is unclear, do not draw again straight away; come back to the same question another day.

Yes or No Tarot: frequently asked questions

How does the yes or no tarot reading work?
You draw one card. If it lands upright, the answer leans yes; if it lands reversed, the answer leans no or not yet. The card itself explains the circumstances around the answer.
Can I ask the same question twice?
You can, but the second draw does not cancel the first. Readers usually recommend waiting a day or asking a more specific question instead.
Which deck is used?
The Visconti-Sforza deck, one of the oldest surviving tarot decks, painted in Milan in the 15th century. All 78 cards are in the draw.
Is this reading free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no email and no payment. The reading is meant for reflection and entertainment, not as advice.
