And now for something very special… Aquarius can best be defined as a smorgasbord of everything ethereal. You can find scented oils, candles, incense and incense holders, all different kinds of stones, a few clothing items and handbags, books, and an entire line of jewelry. We visited on a recent Saturday and were warmly greeted by the person opening the door at noon.
The teenager in your household is probably going to want to spend their entire allowance at this place. Especially if they are into the Harry Potter type of vibe. There are amulets, knives, decorative drawing books, mortar and pestle sets. I personally found their line of French Maison Berger fragrances and fragrance refills very impressive! They have the full product line and are priced fairly.
When you visit, plan to go early because the store was very busy by 1: 00pm. Also, most of the parking is street parking so you have to be adept in parallel parking or just be willing to walk a bit. Vulcan's forge jewelry is also a part of the store, about half of the floor space. They have real silver and gold pieces and some unique pieces that you won't find anywhere else. Stop by for a gift for that earthy person in your life. If you found this review and the photos helpful please like my review. Thanks!

Visiting Aquarius has become something I look forward to each time I visit KC. The first time I visited, I was warmly greeted by a fellow who helped me get acquainted to the store while also not being pushy at all. I then had my purchase checked out by another employee who was helpful and took care of packaging everything carefully for my trip home. None of the employees were at all bothered that I was hanging out so close to their closing time.
The first visit was so great that I brought a friend to the store who also enjoyed it. We were warmly welcomed by LA on the Vulcan’s forge side who patiently helped us try on various rings before making a purchase. It was a wonderful time and we both walked out with some unique items and look forward to our next visit!

I was once a regular here and now I’m not. Alex the manager here is one of the most rude employees I’ve ever experienced. For a store that promotes good energy, this Alex doesn’t show it. I went to return a book and he told me that I shouldn’t be returning books as much in a disrespectful and demanding manner. It’s not the policy I’m angry about, it’s the way he rudely explained it. After leaving the store and reflecting on the experience for about 30 minutes, I decided to call the store to explain to a manager how I felt disrespected as a customer. I ended up speaking to Alex over the phone, tried to explain my feelings on the way he handled things and was proceeded to be targeted by name for incorrect information. He went into detail about my past purchases and told me I had already had two “paper purchases” (which small posters I returned for low quality) even though in the store, he had said too many “book”returns not paper. I would also like to note that I’ve never returned a book here before. I’m sorry, it’s store credit, I’m still putting money towards the store. Even my sister said how rude he was. Everyone else is so nice and helpful, except for Alex. Never shopping here again.
