Teton Valley VITA, Driggs, ID

Teton Valley VITA is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program serving Driggs, Tetonia and Victor from sites at the Valley of the Tetons Library and a senior community center. It is part of Wyoming Free Tax Service, a coalition of statewide VITA sites established in 2008 that serves low to moderate income families in rural areas. The coalition also runs traveling site setups with volunteers to reach more rural communities, and its outreach includes public service announcements, paid advertising, social media, community resources, seminars on tax obligations and word of mouth.

Sites operate in person at libraries and senior centers across several Wyoming counties, including Laramie, Park, Campbell, Weston and Carbon, plus Jackson Hole and Teton Valley. The program has served rural communities since 2008.
