I cannot say enough good things about Sierra Reiki. I have sciatic nerve damage and have had two back surgeries, so as one can imagine, I know pain. I had my first session with Dianne about six months ago. I was going through a tough time personally and things were crazy at work. All of this is the perfect storm for what I call a "sciatica flare". When this happens, not much will soothe it and that includes massage because some areas of my skin actually feel like a sunburn. I went in to see Dianne and was instantly greeted by someone that felt like an old friend. Her studio was very quiet, which is surprising considering it is located in downtown Visalia. My session lasted about an hour and was, most certainly, the most relaxed I had been in weeks. I went in wound up pretty tight and in a lot of pain, but I left feeling much more calm and relaxed. The sciatic pain I was feeling was almost non-existent. My only regret is that I made the appointment on a day that I had to go into work afterwards. I would have much rather gone home and had a lazy nap day. If you're living with chronic pain or just a hectic schedule, give Sierra Reiki a shot. I promise you won't be disappointed and will be trying to fit another session into your schedule before the first one is even over.
