A little piece of heaven on earth. I go to the Golden Folk to see Andrea the acupuncturist whom I can say (after 7 months) is some kind of magician healer. I have always been skeptical to everything, because there’s just too much out there and a lot of it, is just expensive and doesn’t work, unless you convince yourself it does. However, acupuncture with Andrea at the Golden Folk, has changed my perspective about it, because one thing is if you go to get some mental relief, but when you go, trying to find some ease to physical chronic pain and you come out of it feeling at a 90%, then you start believing in it. My condition hasn’t changed, because it requires a lot more, but acupuncture has helped me and improved my every day life, I can go by 3-4 days of the week feeling a bit normal, walking without excruciating pain and that’s a lot. I’m grateful for this place, for Sonia, for Andrea. Thank you for nurturing a space that holds you as a whole and listens to you, especially when you come completely disappointed in Western medicine. They listen and they genuinely do their best to make you feel better. A 1000% recommended
