We hiked the overlook trail to see the incredible view of Patagonia Lake abd the mountains.

I got a day pass from the Patagonia state park down the road; not sure if that counted as a permit. Very narrow road to get yo the horse trailer parking lot and trailhead. It is only a .2 mile easy hike for a fully capable individual to Patagonia Lake using Black Hawk Trail. However, it is very steep incline.
