A very kind and helpfull ranger gave me the right information about the area, where I could hike. He was also very interested about my hikingtrip the moment I got back.
This ranger station is only open during the Summer.

I cannot speak highly enough of this incredible and humble ranger station. Ranger Al is a kind, dedicated ranger with a wealth of knowledge of the area and incredible passion. If you are in the area, plan time into your trip to sit with him and learn from him. He is incredible invested in the community of Anaktuvuk Pass and any visitor that comes through his station.
