Initially, I planned to attend the second session my fiancé had scheduled with this ‘psychic’ until I started hearing more and more about what she was telling my fiancé. I was not expecting to hear “$500.00” when I asked him how much he paid for the initial session. She/ ‘Ava’ gave him two bracelets to wear and a small quartz crystal to keep under his pillow to say with a prayer. She then said she wanted an additional $100.00 for #every #year #of #his #life (he is 23 almost 24-years-old) that she would ‘venture into’ to try and find the origin of his issues. She also said he should not tell his father or myself how much he was to pay for these sessions. Thankfully, he did finally tell us and of course, we are baffled at how little clarity/answers in his quest for knowledge there have been from these sessions for the amount of money/energy he has expended so far. So far, he has paid Ava $1,700.00 in about 2 sessions. (*He is a below middle-class earner at the moment). He went in initially on his own to improve upon himself so he could be better for our relationship. When he told her we had yoga retreat trip planned to Bali with my yoga studio coming up in a few months, she told him he shouldn’t be ‘traveling through this process’. *The rest of our trip will cost approximately what she wants him to pay her— $1,300.00! He does not feel comfortable paying her any more money nor does he believe that she holds any answers that can truly remedy his dilemmas but every time he passes her shop (we live/work nearby) she comes out to try to pull him in to set another appointment. Ava did not provide any references, any real answers or remedies, a contract for her services, or even a receipt of payment for the $1,700.00 she has collected in cash. Beware.
