Emerson High School has a wonderful, highly educated, motivated, and professional faculty. When rated by the University of Arkansas analysis, Emerson High School has repeatedly received an A rating. Students achieve excellence in FFA competition, athletic competition, regional science fair competition, and are always represented well in the art and music venues. Literacy, math, and science scores are always some of the best in the state, and this is only because the individual student personally takes advantage of the hard work and preparation from faculty. Hat of course is a must, regardless of school. Beyond academia, parents are concerned that their child will be attended by loving, caring people, who will correct students when needed to keep all safe and protected. The entire staff is dedicated to this care, as has been witnessed by this writer for more than ten years.
